Membership Benefits

By becoming a member of PWCA, you will have access to the following benefits.

  • Member Directory - PWCA produces a biannual community directory containing names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses (for those who consented) for the 400+ homes in our neighborhood. The useful resource also contains a list of frequently used numbers, a map of the community, a list of recommended service providers, and the PWCA bylaws.

  • Community Events - PWCA sponsors seven community events for members each year (e.g., Pizza/Bingo Night, Labor Day Picnic).

  • Neighborhood Website - PWCA maintains a website to keep members informed of the latest community news, issues, events, and services.

  • Common Area Landscaping - PWCA spends a portion of the yearly budget on landscaping of the most visible common areas in Potomac Woods. The landscaping effort plays a big part in making our community look good for everyone.

  • Listserv Emails - For those that decide to participate, PWCA maintains an email listserv to send out important messages to members.

  • Involvement in Your Community - PWCA offers you a chance to get involved in your community and to get to know your fellow neighbors through all of our social activities and goodwill/charity efforts.
